Bahia Honda Beach

Bahia Honda is an island in the lower Florida Keys. The island is uninhabited and is the home of the Bahia Honda State Park. In the park you will find a 2.5 mile natural, white sand beach that has been named as the best beach in the USA. The beach is a popular place for swimming, but there are also nature trails near the beach. The park also have areas for fishing, picnicking. The 3.5 mile paved road is a great place for bicycling and inline skating.

If you want to go kayaking or snorkelling it is possible to rent gear in the park. There are also boat trips available if you want to go snorkelling in the reef. Boat slips are available for overnight rentals in the marina, or if you are more into camping you can put up your tent at the campsites.

The park is open from 8 AM to sunset all year around.
